*SQUEE* BEST MOVIE EVER!
Seriously, GoF puts the other three movies to shame. It's just wonderfully done, it really develops the plot nicely and when it takes out elements of the book, it's seamless and all comes together in the end.
I WANT TO SEE IT AGAIN
Also, college sucks. I want to go hooooooooooome. Thank god it's nearly Thanksgiving.

Blah. It's been a while since I've written anything here...
To make a long story short, college has been great, wonderful, kind of overwhelming and at times awkward, but I'm enjoying myself.
Tonight I went to the NIN concert at the Allstate arena ... I had this wonderful idea to get as close as we could to the front (we had floor tickets) .. it was fine while Autolux and Queens of the stone age performed (no one was too psyched about them) but the minute NIN came on I knew I was in trouble ... it was the most frightened I think I've ever been. Basically I screamed as loud as I could and made it clear to the guys around me as well as the guy I was with that I needed to get out. They lifted me up (I was by this time panicking) and I sat on someone's shoulders for about 30 seconds until security hauled me out of there. I ended up in the front toward one side, still a great place to watch from.
So, a bit of unexpected crowd surfing! I think I've learned my lesson.
ANYWAY, GREAT CONCERT. I LOVE TRENT. I CAN'T BELIEVE I WAS IN THE SAME ROOM AS HIM. WE SHARED OXYGEN. YAY.

I feel so terrible for everyone down where the hurricaine hit ... my thoughts and hopes go out to them. I can't imagine losing everything - it must be one of the loneliest feelings in the world.
In happier items, I got two floor tickets for the NIN concert in Chicago on October 7th. Talked a friend into buying one of the two that were listed for sale on ebay. I paid way too much for mine (80 bucks with shipping) but I'm hugely excited.
Getting really psyched about school starting, too. Met up with about 10 other freshmen in the area, they all seemed really sweet. Squee!

Does anyone know of any websites where you can advertise houses/apartments for rent? The catch is I need a site that advertises international housing, not just within the US, and not just vacation rentals either. We need to rent one of the houses in Oaxaca, Mexico and I haven't had any luck so far.

So. Got into UNC Chapel Hill today. That is the last of the schools I applied to. In summary:

I guess four out of five ain't bad. Now I just have to decide where I'm going. Of course my first choice is Northwestern --- So I might have to decide between UNC and UW. What do y'all think?

Sweden!!!
Got to Caroline´s house last night and haven´t seen much since it gets dark here at around 6. But there is a bit of snow and the house is fanastic and FUCK I´m in Scandinavia! Not a place I ever thought I´d visit.
The Super Bowl sucked, not only because the Eagles lost but also because, well, it was a boring game. The night was fun, though, despite the fact that I had an 8 am train to catch and ended up getting about 1.5 hours of sleep.
Anyway, we´re going out!!! weeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee

I am soooo anxious!!! They've waited a long time for this and now it's here and .. and .. oh fuck they've GOT to win!! The guy at the Irish pub we're going to watch it at (12 midnight our time) is charging 15 euros for girls, that includes 3 free beers but still, I'm not going to drink that much. But I have to go, not going is not an option. Really.
I got drunk for the first time the other night. Apparently I am the silly type of drunk who sways a lot, says embarrassing things and laughs. I actually liked it. This frightens me.
Saw Aviator last night. A bit too long but Leo was great. And Jude. My darling Jude.

Aujourd'hui il a fait un temps de chien. Je ne supporte plus le froid mais je suppose qu'il sera encore pire a Wisonsin o Chicago alors il faut que je survive cet hiver. Mes lèvres sont un désastre et ma peau est encore plus laide qu'elle l'est normalement mais à part cela, tout va bien.
Je suis constamment nerveuse à propos des universités. Ma vie va être complètement affectée par cette décision et je dois attendre encore deux mois plus pour savoir où je serai pour les prochaines 4 années.
Cette matin je n'ai pas pu me réveiller à temps pour mon cours de traduction de 8 h 00. Je me sents coupable puisque c'est un de mes cours préferés et en plus l'examen est placé le vendredi, il aurait fallu pratiquer. Il est dur, le cours, mais très pratique, en fait je pense que j'apprends plus dans traduction que dans mon cours de langue. Le professeur est fantastique même si je trouve qu'il est un peu trop strict au moment de noter les devoirs.
Je vous laisse, mes chers amis, car il faut bien dormir ce soir. J'avais l'intention de vous expliquer comment je suis tombée encore plus amoureuse de Baptiste cette semaine, mais il faudra le ranconter à la prochaine.
